Coming in at 118.6 Proof, this 20 year old cask strength bourbon is the third single barrel to be released under the New England Barrel Company Founder's Selection label. With a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, it has tasting notes of light oak, baked apples, and vanilla bean. Coupled with an approachable proof point, it makes this bottle one to be enjoyed with each sip.

There are definitely some oak notes to this but certainly not what you would expect from a 20 year old bourbon. Very nice sipper. Compares favorably to Knob Creek 21. Just bought a second bottle.
What can I say about this single barrel. Its delicious. One of my favorite of 2025. Loved it so much, I purchased a backup right away.
